Worked in dentistry for over 30 years first as a Dental Nurse then progressed to hygienist/therapist.
Qualified with Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Birmingham 1998 where I won the “hygienist of the year” award for highest marks in finals.
Qualified with Diploma in Dental Therapy with distinction from Liverpool in 2006.. won the prize for best final case presentation.
Qualified with a first in BSc Dental Studies for DCPs from Uclan in 2016.
Currently studying for a Masters in Nutritional Therapy at Worcester Uni.
Married with one child. Hobbies include park run and countryside walks.

I qualified as a dental hygienist at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1983. After qualifying I worked at the QE hospital in the maxillofacial department, helping and treating patients who had mouth cancer and trauma patients. I also worked at Birmingham Dental hospital and in private dental practice. I have worked as a Dental Hygienist at Salop Road since 1983. Many of my patients I have been treating there for nearly 40 years which has been lovely. I enjoy listening to patients and sharing their ups and downs of their lives with them.
I enjoy helping nervous patients overcome their fear of dentistry and helping patients to improve their oral hygiene.
In my spare time I love running, skiing and my lovely cats
